Our client enjoys the convenience of condo living and the ideal location off 395 in Alexandria. Yet, the unit had not been updated since the building was constructed in the late 1970s. Aging cabinetry and countertops as well as worn-out vinyl flooring, carpet, and wallpaper showed the day-to-day living of more than 40 years. Our team completely gutted the unit down to the drywall and subfloor. Key upgrades include luxury vinyl plank throughout the unit; extending the cabinetry on the kitchen sink side to allow for additional storage, counter space, and a pantry; quartz countertops in the kitchen and bath; replacing kitchen fluorescent lighting with recess lighting and painting the dropped ceiling. Painting the unit warm gray is the finishing touch.
